Understanding what counseling is necessary. Life happens, and we all occasionally face overwhelming obstacles. Trying to handle these problems on your own or choosing to ignore them can be risky and ultimately destructive. In fact, deciding to seek counseling is a good decision. (Pro 12:15) The way of the stupid is correct in his own eyes, but the way of the wise is to listen to advice.

Counseling offers peace and comfort. (Pro 11:14) People fall when there is no guidance, yet there is protection in the abundance of counselors. Everyone occasionally needs counseling. (Pro 15:22) Without guidance, objectives fail, yet they are realized among the many counselors.

We weren’t made to handle everything independently, so sometimes we need help from someone with a different viewpoint. Professional counseling is discreet and without bias. We were never supposed to carry all of our difficulties and challenges alone; I’d rather see a counselor than let pride ruin my life.

Counseling has positive effects on the counselee as well as others close to them, like a spouse or kids. It’s a fact of life that sometimes we need therapy as a consequence of an unforeseen event, and other times we need counseling as a result of our own choices.

Both the mentoring and counseling sections have an introduction option. This thirty-minute session is intended to provide you an overview of counseling and the following steps in the procedure.
